We'll Make Ghana Center Point Of Filmmaking - Creative Arts Minister-Assign
The Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister-assign, Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, has indicated plans to make Ghana the center point of film making in West Africa.
"We need to assemble a film and music studio. It's one component that can expand the travel industry capability of this country. We don't have any genuine studio in this country, so this is one of the principal things that we will do. The film studio will help in music and film creation and make Ghana the center point of film creation in West Africa," He told the Appointments Committee of Parliament when he showed up before them.
As per him, the foundation will cost around 20-million-dollars.
Responding to the worries of the continuous loss of Ghanaian culture in films and music, the pastor chosen one said he has plans of building a 20-million-dollar public studio to deliver small scale arrangement.
"Without a solid culture and creative foundation, instilling our way of life into the young will be troublesome, we are getting a 50 million Cedis award to help major parts in the travel industry area," he added.
